That line has occurred to me many times over the years but I couldn't recall where it came from (and I'd not not thought to look it up). Thanks for the memory refresh!
Good job tracking it down. You should be a research lawyer or Jodi Foster FBI girl. The thing about it is I never saw the Guns of Will Sonnet. So I don't know how I knew it. What I liked about it was the simplicity, confidence, and conversation ending tone of it. Who would want to challenge that? I wish I could remember when I heard it but my guess is that it was before you were a pup. When was the movie made?
@patrick - you bet!
@DAD - i agree with liking the conversation-ending tone of it. it's perfect. it was a TV show from 1967-69. you probably couldn't remember since those were your acid/mescaline years. :)
Hey don't make me out to be that bad. It's a little hazy but I didn't do acid and mescaline no more than 17 or 28 times.
ha - no brag, just fact?
Only once and I was bushwhacked by a "good friend" roommate who loaded up some brownies unbeknownst to any one. Nice guy! His parents never forgave me for not inviting him to my wedding. Something I had to live with but I just couldn't tell them why. He had very nice parents too. They never would have done that.
man what a jerk. i think kid d had a similar experience. not fun if you think you're dying!
