hot water sounds different

when i run the faucet waiting for the water to heat up, the sound changes once the hot water gets there. any idea why?

I'm not a plumber, but my guess would have something to do with water pressure. The cold water is immediately available, but the warm water needs to be pumped from your hot water tank. I would guess the pressure is increased a little when the plumbing is trying to pull the hot water in and decreases once the water starts to flow. Just my opinion...I have no facts to back it up.

very interesting kid d. pressure while pulling the hot water. i know some folks in the plumbing biz, i'll try to ask an expert to solve this mystery.
