computer's back

i got my computer back from the shop yesterday & after a few minor hassles and with the patient and relentlessly generous technolove from my friend Stefan The Computer Whisperer i managed to get most programs reinstalled and my email is back to good and my login and passwords are set for most of the places i go so all is well here in cyberland. it took a whole month and a LOT more money than i care to admit but what can ya do.

one day a friend washed his wallet with his pants & this is what was drying out on his kitchen table

i find myself at the end of my rope

computer repairman was here this morning for 3 hours, thought he'd fixed my computer, i paid him $252 & he left to see another customer & turns out the computer is exactly the same as when he arrived. you turn it on & there's a blinking white cursor and that is all. i've been in asheville 5 months & this is the first time i've gone hysterical crying which i guess is good and bad. he's coming back to pack the computer up & take it to their shop & fix it for real and for good. i can only hope.

i think i found the "tarantula" that was tormenting me in my bed a few months ago. i haven't seen it indoors since then, but today i saw this spider next to the front door & i think it's the same one

i woke up at 415 this morning to throw up a lot of something like lettuce and tortilla chips
