I saw a heck of a lot of suebies up in Vermont as well. It must be their all wheel drive so that you can get to town when theres icy rain or snow.

too funny--wonder what that says about residents of the Old North State?

remnants of NC's failed toyota courtship perhaps?

wonder who leads the nation in creepy airbrushed vans? Kentucky?

i'm wondering the same thing, anonymous - i didn't know they were all wheel drive, that might be the reason phil. i think it's like you get most of the SUV functionality without the stigma of gas guzzler.
that's an interesting article bjurk, i didn't know there was a 'sweet spot' for car manufacturers! i think the most creepy airbrushed vans are probably out in arizona or new mexico where it's dry and vans last forever because most of the ones in kentucky are probably broken down by now. just a guess.
