i'm just not that into the winter olympics.
ooh look at us...instead of chopping wood and foraging for food, we have enough money and free time to play games in the snow all day...
just kinda rubbing it in the face of the rest of the world...
i know it's about dreams. and it's great these people are pushing their physical limits. but all the nationalistic competitive crap is heavy.

Same here. They are a little b-o-r-i-n-g as well. I just can't conjur up enough stamina to do anything but stay warm.
The only winter olympic sport I care about is hockey.
I also thought Shaun White's celebration after winning last night was pretty over the top. Not classy at all. :(
they're a big yawn...totally with you on that.
agree with the thought of playing in the snow while others are trying to find their next meal, pull the bodies of friends and families out of rubble, etc.
i agree with you all. except jason, because i don't even follow hockey. but i understand following it.
