Whoa, that was really cool. At first I was looking at the object in the next yard thinking that the wind or lightening was going to "bowl" it over, but by the end I just enjoyed listening to the big drop and wind.

It was such a dry season here last winter and it doesn't look like it's going to rain here in Santa Barbara for another 100 days. The trees here are not lush and green like that, they're a little brown and in need of some water.

I can't wait for some big phat rain drops! Bowling would be a bonus.

I would be happy to send any of you the rain and storms we've been getting in Okie land. We've had 21 consecutive days of rain. Forget about Woodie Guthrie's dust bowl, this place is under water.

phil - the trees in SB should probably be cacti! it always pissed me off when my neighbors in sd would water their lawn for hours every day - such a waste of precious water to keep grass alive that was never meant to grow there. it doesn't even rain up on the mountain where you live?

kid d, that is wild! 3 full weeks of rain? more than halfway to the noah story - wasn't that 40 days? red mud state?
