WTF Wednesday: Firming Your Figure (1981)


Hallo Wednesday! Hallo WTF!

This week's focus is Firming Your Figure, the Consumer Guide from 1981 filled with 96 pages of a woman in Adidas jogging shorts over panty hose (sometimes legwarmers) demonstrating 7 days of exercises designed to give you the best figure you've ever had. 


This glorious magazine was sent to me by my friend Allison from Robin Egg Surprise Vintage.

Forget her figure...how about those raccoon eyes in one of the pictures. Maybe she's sweating so much her mascara has run all over her face?

ha! i think it's too much mascara, they also overdid the blush rouge in a couple shots - making her look like a...creepy clown! even when i don't post pictures of creepy clowns, i post pictures of creepy clowns.
