man, so scary!
Love this! Reminds me to recheck the "Organic 15" (or is it 10?!?) list and memorize which foods MUST be bought organic!
jen - i just googled and came up with this:
http://lenpenzo.com/blog/id1208-15-organic-fruits-veggies-that-arent-worth-paying-more-for.html
That will free up your money to buy organic produce with the highest pesticide loads that EWG has identified from their “Dirty Dozen” list. Those 12 items are, in order: celery, peaches, strawberries, apples, blueberries, nectarines, bell peppers, spinach, cherries, collard greens, potatoes, and imported grapes.
the same site has 'sweet potatoes' on the list of things that don't need to be bought organic, though - so who really knows?
and like this potato project girl says - it doesn't just stay on the skin so you can't wash it off.
scary stuff.
Lil Jen - here's the link, they put out new lists today!
