oohhh, that's tough. i love bonnie raitt. i've got an old radio concert of hers from the 70s. tlg has the guy from railroad earth fiddling for them. tough, but went with tlg.

I like the Susan Tedeschi version. I mean there's something so relaxed about Bonnie Raitt's voice that is amazing, but I dig Susan's Tedeschi's sound. If you see her live, you'll notice that she sings with a preetty impressive edge to her voice, but when talks between songs, she sounds like a girl scout. It's quite amazing.

And yes, you're right about the song. It's on my iPod shuffle and I'm always happy to hear it when it comes around.

oh yes susan t kicks so much ass jason! it was a toss up between her & tlg for me. i thought the other lady singing with susan t kinda took a lot away from it.

and kid d, that's tim carbone on the fiddle playing with tea leaf, and what he does during the last verse with the flies buzzing is purely brilliant...
is the bonnie raitt you have live at the plant in philly? if not, i will burn it & send it to you because you must have it.
