pants on fire
i spent all those days
hopin you'd change
every new thought
locked up in its cage
i know that you lied
it must burn inside
to owe me the money
to owe me the time
each hurt you impart
with your stumbling heart
is driving the two of us
further apart
there's time to amend
to make peace as a friend
to get straight & unbent
and feel brand new again
but meanwhile we wait
and all i can do
is throw buckets & heaps
of forgiveness at you
hopin you'd change
every new thought
locked up in its cage
i know that you lied
it must burn inside
to owe me the money

each hurt you impart
with your stumbling heart

global warming
i went to Al Gore's movie, An Inconvenient Truth last night.
i believe him.
i believe human beings have done terrible things to the atmosphere in the past 50 years and we're beginning to feel the catastrophic effects in many ways - unprecedented severe weather is one.
i believe bastard oil interests cast doubt on the truth to serve their own pockets.
what are our grandkid's grandkids going to think of us? why didn't they wake up? why didn't they stop what they were doing? what were they doing? why are we left with this toxic planet?
do the right thing, vote the right way, go see the movie, do real research & decide for yourself.
