hey skippy,
thanks for your note on my blog. i thought i'd come over and try to answer your questions here. feel free to just read and delete or whatever...

if you google "google adsense," you'll probably find better answers than mine. but i'll try...

adsense is a simple way to add ads to a blog, and then earn money when people click on them. i think you earn something like a tenth of a cent for each click, so you need lots of clicks to earn money. i've had google ads on my blog for about six months and earned about $50 bucks. but still, it's free money.

ads change out, but i'm not sure how often. they're supposed to be geared toward content on the blog, so if you write about homes, you'll get real estate ads, etc. it's not a perfect system - it's based on google's super-secret algorithms that i know nothing about. but they're supposed to try to match ads to content.

does that begin to answer your questions?

take care, and thanks for reading.
