they're showing this tonight at the fine arts theater downtown. and be there i will. it's a documentary on the state of the music biz. music will never die.

you're right kid d - the music won't stop. paying the wrong people for the music might stop. which would be good. one thing i hadn't thought of is that the format of music changed so many times in the past 50 years (vinyl > 8track > cassette > cd > mp3) and each time people re-bought a major part of their music collections, and the profits in the music industry were therefore hugely falsely 'bloated' for many years and now that it's down to digital files, that's gone.
